High School Teacher Creates New Educational App

 
The New Educational App would be very helpful for those of us who are always looking at teacher's notes. This app would help us have access to notes and it would even allow us to make our own notes on the side, in case we need different word to understand.

I have never really thought about making an app, but know that I think about it it would be a very good idea. If I ever did get to  make an app it would be something that my kindergarten class could use. I think I would use the app to help the students read better, it would include different books and some activities after. This will help them when practicing their reading and they could have access to them anywhere if they have an iPad, especially during summer since most student don't practice during this time of the year.

In my opinion the three most important rules in Mr. Clark's classroom were:

• We are family- I loved the fact he tried to make his students feel like at home while they were in school learning.
•  Respond to an adult when spoken to- Students have to understand that EVERYBODY deserves to be respected and responded to, especially adults.
  
• Do not ask for a reward.- Children need to understand that they will not get a reward every time they do something right. A reward might be receiving a "Good job" or anything similar.

Two rules that I will have in my future classroom will be:

• Make sure you keep your area clean after getting your work done, clean up after yourselves 
• Respect yourself and others. 

 

The Advantages of Technology in the Classroom

The author, Eric Schriener, talks about five ways that help students do better in school. What I have read about all five of these ways are important and have helped a lot of people I know in different ways. 

• Accessing Information- This has helped me a lot during high school, and I'm sure it will help me even after school. I feel like having access to information through internet makes things easier for me, and it can also save me more time which is what i like the most.
• Editing of Written Works- Every time I have a chance I use technology to check my work. This has helped me a lot because I don't have to worry about having misspelled words, so that helps me get better grades on my work.
• Providing Supplementary Information
• Communicating
• Motivating Students

Another way  technology can help us students prepare for our future is the fact that now days we are very used to listening to music or using cellphones for most part of the day. For some of us music helps us concentrate and do better on our work. We could also involve into our lessons music, movies, or anything else that has to do with  technology.
